Modern Day Gods
In ancient times, people idolized and worshiped gods as a way of understanding the world and how to live in it with the most effectiveness. In modern times, religion has declined but the idolization process has instead been placed on celebrities, athletes and politicians. This project explores the merging of the ancient Greek gods with modern day “heroes”.
